How to prepare a property for photography

Photography cannot invent a property. It can only present what is there, clearly. Preparation is the difference between a set that feels looked after and a set that fights clutter.

Clear benches, hide bins and laundry, make beds with the linen guests will actually get, and remove personal paperwork. Lights should work. Blinds should be consistent. Cars should not block the hero exterior if you can move them.

Occupied stays are common. A short reset between guests is enough when the property is already guest-ready. Do not restage the home into a furniture catalogue if that is not how it books.

Tell the photographer about the one thing the listing must show: the view, the pool, the bunk room, the parking. That becomes the priority when light or access is limited.
